Responsibilities
As a Direct Care Worker, you will:- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Run errands and grocery shop when needed
- Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Offer medication reminders
- Maintain accurate documentation of client activities and well-being
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Proof of residency (2 years)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Open availability preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption documentation
